Stryk Thomas, ACC coaches across industry, culture and life experiences to help clients unlock greater potential. His professional endeavors include 20 years in corporate strategy, developing products and programs at both established companies and startups. He has transferred his skills across industries several times as a practitioner. These pivots have provided perspective in such diverse sectors as agro-forestry, biotechnology, business research, education, film/television, mortgage finance, news media, venture capital and wine. Broad perspective has taught lessons in leadership and operations that repeat themselves across industries and life experiences.

Stryk’s work is driven by curiosity about people. He has collaborated with leaders in both the world’s most and least developed communities, speaks three languages, and has visited 34 countries. He is an outdoor athlete and holds a black belt in Shotokan karate. It turns out that career shifts, living in multiple cultures, and athletics teach something in common: how to tap intuition and the body’s wisdom to inform decisions great and small.

Stryk is a certified Integral Coach® through New Ventures West and continues to train with peers there and with the International Coach Federation. He studied an MBA at Georgetown University and anthropology at the University of Michigan. Stryk’s writing has appeared in The Washington Post, San Francisco Chronicle and elsewhere.
